Our sim racers had a blast at Sim Racing Chicago!
The Community Garage brought a group of 15 drivers out to enjoy hours of virtual track time. Nestled in the western suburbs of Chicago, Sim Racing Chicago has some of the best full motion rigs around.
The crew at SRC went out of their way to support all our drivers. We had some kids who were very familiar with sim racing and some who were doing it for the first time. They were able to set up different run groups with different cars to make sure everyone had a good time. And then we had pizza!
Always important to us: everyone also learned a lot about driving! Our friends from the NASA Great Lakes instructor corps came out to support the kids. Huge thanks to Dan Mehmeti and Darek Komen for their help.
After four hours of driving, we left wanting more. So we will be back! We hope you will be there with us too.
